DIY Macro Lighting - Light Tent
Light tents are a great way to get that perfect shot for reverse lens macro photography. Most of the time you end up with the lens so close to the subject and you just can’t get enough light in there with a flash or even a bounce. I desided to do a small round up of several of the better DIY light tent setups.
There is a great article over at the Digital Photography School where they used an over head light, cardboard box, and tissue paper to get some great shots. Here is a picture of the rig in question:

The results look pretty awesome:

Another Interest example is over at roughfisher.com where they used it to shoot fishing equipment. The rig is very close to the same but they used fabric:

The results didn’t turn out to bad either, but it looks like they used a direct flash showing alot of glare:
